Historiography of kazakh traditional wood carving

This article examines the main elements of subject and spiritual culture Kazakh traditional wooden ornament. The study primordially preserved original wood products crafts carpenters 18th – early 20th centuries. Review works peoples Central Asia on art woodcarving, design decoration. Including «Kazakh yurt» by M. S. Mukanov, voluminous research work H. Argynbaev «Craft people», «The crafts» Zhanibekov, «Folk decorative applied Kazakhs» which was written ethnographer researcher N.A. Orazbayeva, Kasimanova «Crafts people» demonstrates technology processing types ornaments, ornament» K. Ibraeva, folk T.K. Basenova. In significant U.Kydyralin “The economy Mangistau Kazakhs” in section «Handiwork related to home craft» male female are scientifically differentiated, authors considered techniques craftsmen. Their creative heritage includes household items, dishes, carts, chariots, saddles objects customs traditions.
